When you visit our show in Pigeon Forge, you’ll get to witness a famous feud between the Hatfields and McCoys. These two families differ from the famous quarreling families from Kentucky and West Virginia several generations back, however. The Hatfields & McCoys in our show fight about who’s better in certain aspects of entertainment! It all started in 2011 when Pa Hatfield decided to get a fresh start somewhere far away from the McCoy family. He packed up and moved with his three daughters to the Great Smoky Mountains to gain fame and fortune through their clogging and musical talents. Unfortunately, Ma McCoy had the same idea and brought her three boys, along with their musical talents on the banjo, fiddle, and bass, to Pigeon Forge.
Once the mayor heard the two infamous families were in the Smokies, he got the sheriff involved and started competitions between the two families for clogging and playing instruments. The two families realized that their talents were enough to make an entertaining show and added some dancing, comedy, diving stunts, and duets into the mix to make the Hatfield & McCoy Dinner Feud you know and love today!
