The Hatfield & McCoy Dinner Feud is one of the most popular dinner shows in Pigeon Forge, and once you visit, you’ll understand why! Our show features a talented cast of performers who are trying to settle their differences, mountain-style. You’ll witness musical performances, mighty feats of strength, jaw-dropping stunts, and more. That’s what you can expect to see when you visit our Pigeon Forge show, but are you wondering who you can expect to see? Keep reading to find out who you’ll see at the Hatfield & McCoy Dinner Feud.
1. The Hatfields
In 2011, Pa Hatfield decided he’d had enough of the McCoys and the two families’ long-running feud, so he decided to pack up and relocate with his family to a much quieter place — the Smoky Mountains. During the show, guests get to watch the three Hatfield daughters show off their impressive clogging and musical talents.
2. The McCoys
Pa Hatfield wasn’t the only one who had the idea to escape to the Smoky Mountains! Ma McCoy decided to move her family to the Smokies too in hopes of more opportunities for her children. She convinced her 3 sons to leave for the Smoky Mountains, where their bass, banjo, and fiddle talents would be more appreciated. The audience loves watching the musical performances from the McCoys! That’s not all, though. The Hatfield & McCoy Dinner Feud is full of feuding between the Hatfields and McCoys.
3. The Mayor
When Mayor Timothy P. O’Reilly heard the two families were in town and had a long-running family feud, he decided to make a competition out of it for entertainment! His goal was to see who was the best between the two in clogging, which was the Hatfields’ specialty, and playing musical instruments, which was the McCoys’ specialty. We have the mayor to thank for having a front-row seat to the feud between the Hatfields and McCoys! The mayor is also responsible for introducing the billycopter to the sheriff. This high-flying contraption makes it easier for the sheriff to keep an eye on the two families and all their antics!
4. The Sheriff
Speaking of the sheriff, he’s also partly responsible for the creation of our Pigeon Forge show! He worked with the mayor to kickstart the competition between the two families. Once the two families saw their talents were enough to make an entertaining show, they joined forces and added some dancing, comedy, diving stunts, and duets into the mix to become the Pigeon Forge show you love today! As for the sheriff, he has his work cut out for him trying to make sure the Hatfields and McCoys stay out of trouble.
5. Some Diving Dogs!
The Hatfields and McCoys aren’t the only ones who show off their skills through exciting competitions and stunts! Visitors can also expect to see some diving dogs at the Hatfield & McCoy Dinner Feud. With the addition of our 22-feet-deep swimming hole, both diving hillbillies and dogs get to make a splash! Watch as the four-legged performers leap into the pool to play fetch and swim after sticks.
Now that you know who you can expect to see at the Hatfield & McCoy Dinner Feud, we bet you’re ready to plan your visit!
