1. Be one of the first people to enjoy Winterfest lights.

November in Pigeon Forge marks the beginning of the festive Christmas season here in the Smoky Mountains, and that means Winterfest light displays will begin lighting up the night! We suggest bundling up and walking the Riverwalk Greenway for a closer look at some of the elaborate displays, then grabbing some hot chocolate and driving around town to see the rest of the lights from the warmth and comfort of your vehicle. And, don’t forget the Christmas tunes!
2. Get into the holiday spirit at Dollywood.
Dollywood’s Christmas festival provides endless opportunities for festive family fun; it’s easily one of the best things to do in Pigeon Forge in November! Country Fair, Wildwood Grove, and other areas of the park become a magical winter wonderland full of Christmas lights, trees, and decorations. You’ll find plenty of opportunities for holiday shopping, and you may even get to see Santa and his helpers!
3. Watch a festive holiday show

If you’re still looking for ways to feel festive during the month of November, make sure you visit one of the Christmas shows in Pigeon Forge! Most holiday shows begin in early November so families can enjoy them even if they’re not visiting in December. At our dinner show, watch the feudin’ and fightin’ take on a holiday twist, and at The Comedy Barn, enjoy Christmas songs, costumes, and comedy! Dolly Parton’s Stampede also puts on one of the best Christmas shows in town, with an incredible live nativity, a rivalry between the North and South Poles, a beautiful ice skating segment, and so much more!
4. Enjoy Thanksgiving dinner at Hatfield & McCoy.
There’s no better place for a Pigeon Forge Thanksgiving dinner than at our show! While you might not think of us when you’re considering where to eat during this special holiday, our dinner show is actually one of the best spots for a Thanksgiving meal. Why? We serve homestyle Southern dishes like our famous creamy vegetable soup, fried chicken, mashed taters, homestyle bread, and buttery corn on the cob, ideal comfort foods for your holiday meal!
